When assigning a writer or team of writers to a publication, we consider target audience, technical level, scientific basis, and expertise in topic area. Our writers have the creative skills, cultural diversity, and technical skills to handle almost any assignment. On the rare occasion when our talents don't match the project, we have a team of consultants that we can rely upon. For instance, when we developed the Native American Project Against AIDS and Substance Abuse curriculum for the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP), we hired a team of American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) teachers and leaders to write the lesson plans. We also hired a team of AI/AN artists.
